The 2 hour workshop covers:

 

• The purpose of the essays

• How to choose a topic that differentiates your application

• How to approach the writing, even if you think you can't write

• The most common mistakes I see, including the one that tears me apart

• The key differences between the Common Application essay, the UC Personal Insight Questions, and individual college supplements

 

This is a learning and brainstorming seminar to help students jump-start their essays. Students will develop ideas for topics and begin writing. For additional guidance, students may schedule separate, private meetings with me.
